Druzy Cabochons What is a cabochon? A cabochon is not a bead, and has no holes. A cabochon can be many shapes but is characterised by a flat bottom and domed top. They are used in seed beading with embroidery work. The cabochon is applied to a backing material with e6000 glue and the beaded around. They can also be used in wire wrapping and silver smithing.
